Below are a few examples of my work. I love working with small Scottish businesses and getting stuck in wherever I can – although you’ll spot one exception. I wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to create a dog-walking brand full of puppies and puns.

The freelancer and small business combination is special because there’s a shared understanding that comes with building something yourself.

In a sense we’re building it together, and that type of investment in success is personal and meaningful in a way you don’t get with transactional agency relationships.

Small businesses have a unique ability to become part of the communities around them. They’re not just places to buy something or book a service; they become part of the small, everyday moments that make up a life.

You become the local coffee shop someone visits every Saturday, the dog walker they trust with their best friend, the playgroup their kids look forward to, the person they recommend when a neighbour asks, “Do you know anyone who can…?”
